Sleep & Beyond pairs organic cotton jersey with a TPU waterproof layer in a fitted, five-sided protector. This page separates manufacturer-published specifications from editorial interpretation.

At a glance

Textile
Two layers of organic cotton jersey
Barrier
TPU waterproof layer
Coverage
Five-sided fitted design
Depth
Up to 18 inches on non-crib sizes

The manufacturer currently publishes a 10-year warranty, machine-wash care instructions, GOTS certification for its organic cotton, and OEKO-TEX certification/other published approvals for the TPU.

What stands out

The useful part is the disclosed material stack. The organic cotton and the waterproof membrane are described separately, which makes the construction easier to evaluate than a vague “natural waterproof” claim.

The trade-off

Organic cotton is not itself a waterproof membrane. If you want a completely membrane-free layer, this is not that product. If you want organic cotton at the textile surface plus practical liquid protection, the hybrid design is the point.

Fit and care

Sleep & Beyond says the protector is intentionally made slightly oversized to account for cotton shrinkage and recommends washing before first use. Current instructions specify warm water on a gentle cycle and low-heat tumble drying.

Who should shortlist it?

It best suits shoppers who want certified organic cotton, waterproofing, broad fitted coverage and compatibility with deeper mattresses. For six-sided enclosure, compare an encasement instead.
